Looking for an online school in Kolkata? Dreamtime Learning School offers live, teacher-led classes from Nursery to Grade 12, so children across Salt Lake, New Town, Howrah and the rest of the city can learn from home without the daily school run.
Why Kolkata families consider an online school
Kolkata is a city of long commutes and busy school-run mornings. For families who want a wider choice of boards, a smaller class, or a timetable that bends around sport, music or a parent's travel, a live online school is a practical option. Dreamtime classes are taught in real time, so children ask questions, join discussions and build friendships with classmates in other cities.
How Dreamtime works
Lessons are interactive, with discussion, projects and reflection built in, and a learning coach follows each child's progress and keeps parents informed. You can read more about our approach to learning.
Boards and class timings
Learners can follow Cambridge, NIOS or BOSSE pathways from Nursery to Grade 12. Classes run on Indian Standard Time, so there is no timezone adjustment for families in West Bengal. See the class timings for each grade.
Dreamtime offers a free demo class so you can see a live session before deciding. Book a free demo class and our team will help you choose the right grade and board.

02
What curriculum do you follow?
Dreamtime offers Cambridge pathways (Primary and Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS and A Level) as well as the Indian open-schooling boards NIOS and BOSSE. Which options are available depends on the grade, and our admissions team can help you choose the right board for your child.
03
Which grades do you teach?
Dreamtime teaches from Nursery to Grade 12, across pre-primary, primary, middle years, secondary and senior secondary programmes.
04
What are the class timings?
Classes are live, and many grades run two batches a day so families can choose a timing that suits them. The full schedule is on our class timings page.
05
How big are the classes?
Our live classes run in small batches of 20 to 28 learners, which lets educators get to know each child's strengths, interests and learning rhythms and respond to them as individuals. The curriculum and teachers are the same across batch sizes; the difference is class size.

How involved are parents?
Highly informed, not overloaded. Regular updates, clear progress insights, and structured meetings keep parents connected and confident.
