Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh, known as the City of Lakes after the Upper and Lower lakes at its heart, and sits about 190 km from Indore. It is the seat of the state government and home to national institutes such as IISER Bhopal, MANIT and AIIMS Bhopal. For families who may be transferred between cities, a school that stays the same wherever they live can make life simpler. Dreamtime Learning School is a full-time live online school, with real teachers and classmates, from home.
School boards in Bhopal and where Dreamtime fits
Most schools in the city follow the MP Board (the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh) or CBSE, usually on an April-to-March year, with board exams for Classes 10 and 12 in February and March. Dreamtime does not teach CBSE or the MP Board. Instead, learners follow Cambridge pathways, or the NIOS and BOSSE open-schooling boards in Grades 9 to 12, which some families choose for a flexible pace around sport, music or travel.
